An upcoming Ugandan artiste living in Kenya is seeking help to record his songs and make a name for himself in the industry.

30 year old Wilson Bituli relocated to Kenya back in July 2017 and has been living with friends in Nairobi’s Majengo area.

Bituli contested in the 2004 Coca cola popstars but never made it far and has been trying to get into the music business since then.

He says he has tried over the years to reach out to friend for help but no one has ever offerd him a platform.

“I have very many friend in the Ugandan music industry and I have talked to all of them about my music career but none of them has ever offered to help me.” He said

Bituli says he is also a song writer and anyone who needs him to write their music can also reach him but currently he would like to record music.

“I need help from record labels and promoters so I can go to the studio and do my own songs.” He added.

Kenyan comedian David Kagongo popularly known as David the student has been in the headlines lately for all the wrong reasons.

The comedian was recently accused by Kenyans in the Diaspora who claimed he had conned them of huge amount of money.

Following the revelations, the comedian had remained mum until yesterday when he spoke about the matter for the first time.

David took to social media to apologize regarding the matter saying he takes full responsibility.

Citizen TV news anchor Lilian Muli has hit back at haters who have been attacking her for spending over 250K on delivering baby Liam.

Muli was admitted at the private wing of Nairobi hospital during her delivery process leaving many to assume she had parted with the said amount.

In a post on Instagram, Muli said she could spend any amount on her children as long as she can afford it.

“I’m only going to give this my attention because it’s becoming BORING. If I could spend 10 million or more that God has given me the ability to afford to spend I would spend it to give my baby the best experience…if you wanted to know how much I spent you should have just walked into Nairobi Hospital and asked how much it costs trust me if you are upset about 250k that’s a GROSS UNDERESTIMATE! It was much more so prepare to get even more upset. And then again I wonder how much of that you contributed to that you should even have an opinion!!!” she wrote

The TV siren then added that as long as it’s her money she will never shy away from spending it.

Tanzania’s music and arts regulation body, BASATA has offered to mediate the growing feud between Rich Mavoko and his former boss Diamond Platnumz.

Their friction allegedly started after Mavoko managed to break free from his contract with Wasafi records after winning a case against WCB he had submitted before Tanzania’s music and arts regulation body, Baraza la Sanaa Tanzania (BASATA).

Mavoko has been under pressure from his fans to quit the music label after claims that he was too big a name for Wasafi records.

In a twist of events however, Basata says the beef is not as serious as is rumored and they plan to hold talks with the two artistes.

The organization CEO Godfrey Mngereza on Tuesday, August 14 revealed the government body was in the process of holding round table meeting with Diamond and Rich Mavoko’s team to lay all the issues on the table and possibly find a lasting solution to the stalemate.

 “We have spoken to Wasafi and the label have no issue with Rich Mavoko. The organization will table a meeting between the two because there seems to be no real conflict between the two,” he explained.

Initially, Mavoko’s issue with Diamond’s label was the fact that there was immense pressure to release hit after hit leaving artistes with little time to handle personal matters

One of the ladies dressed in white strutted her Odi dance like walk across the podium leaving the judges laughing.

While on an interview with a local publication, an irate Refigah referred to all that was published about his record label as crap.

Refigah went on to add that journalists should have just called to find out what he was up to.

Shots were fired on the set of 50 Cent’s new music video with Tekashi69 according to reports doing rounds.

Witnesses said that someone in a white Porsche with New Jersey license plates fired at least 11 shots while the two rappers were filming in Brooklyn on Tuesday night.

Daniel Hernandez popularly known as Tekashi69 and 50 Cent are said to have been on the set when shots were fired.

The two rappers were unharmed during the incident.

Sources say they don’t believe the shooter was targeting the rappers, but law enforcement aren’t yet sure.

Singer Rufftone and Wahu have been named among those who will spearhead a new government initiative set to champion Technical and Vocational Training agenda among the youth.

According to Cabinet Secretary Amina Mohamed the two will be tasked with reaching out to youth, helping them express themselves and revamp different institutions.

“There have been gaps in the preparation of graduates in terms of career expectations, skills needed, attitude and readiness for work. The tertiary institutions, through the Office of Career Services, are expected to play a central role in addressing these issues,” she said.

Receiving the news, Rufftone said the move was good because it would help eradicate joblessness.

“I came to Nairobi and settled in Umoja estate and their was a jobless corner, it literally was a jobless corner because my friends used to meet and hang out here because they had no jobs or any training, this is a good opportunity to train youths and they will be better placed to get jobs or create on,” said Rufftone

Wahu also said she was glad such an initiative has been put in place.

“If I was clearing my secondary education right now then I would definitely go for such an opportunity because I have always been a champion of skill training, my skill is what puts food on my table,” she said.

Bobi Wine Has Been Arrested Following Attacks From Ugandan Security Forces a few days ago.

The Ugandan musician and opposition lawmaker’s driver was shot dead after a clash with Ugandan forces on Monday night.

Bobi Wine was taken into police custody, along with three other MPs on Tuesady 14th.

The arrest came following an incident with police forces in the north-western town of Aura that left his driver dead.

“We arrested Bobi Wine and others this morning and he is in our custody,” said Emilian Kayima, Uganda’s police spokesman.

The musician was attending a bi-election rally in Arua on Monday, in support of an opposition politician when his driver was shot dead outside of their hotel by security forces.

The musician has allegedly been charged with treason,malicious damage of the president’s vehicle and illegal possession of fire arms.

According to Josephine Ongusiya the police spokes person, West Nile, the police recovered two SMG riffles, rounds of ammunition, a pistol and drugs in the singer’s hotel room in Arua.

Wine will be tried along with opposition politician Kassiano Wadri, who won Wednesday’s fiercely contested municipal by-election against the ruling party in the northern town of Arua.

Ugandan singer Jose Chameleone has written an open letter to president Museveni asking him to forgive and release Bobi  Wine.

Chameleone described Bobi as an excellent leader in the society while asking the president to consider releasing the singer cum Member of Parliament.

Controversial singer Akothee has been missing from the limelight for the past few days leaving fans with more questions than answers.

The singer’s manager, Nelly Oaks has revealed that the singer has been having a difficulty keeping her energy level up.

According to Nelly’s statement, the singer was forced to miss her performance in New York on 11^th August after she collapsed at the airport.

“Good morning, due to public demand, first I apologize for all our fans in NYC, sorry we couldn’t make it past the airport as our vibrant lady got energy burn out,” he said

Akothee was forced to stay on bed rest sometime back after she also burned out.

Rapper Khaligraph Jones has spoken out regarding the rumour that Octopizzo bought Youtube views for his latest song ‘oliel’

The Kibera rapper released the song on August 8 and went on to garner a million views in almost 24 hours.

The song is the first single in Octo’s upcoming album.

“[Sometimes] you succumb to the pressure and with some people, you have to do what you have to do and with him I think he had to do what he to do. At the end of the day, real people know what is happening.” Jones told a local news outlet

Some fans claim the views have been fluctuating giving different figures whenever you checked.

Surprisingly, Octopizzo’s views rose to One million while at number 24 on YouTube’s trending list.

The number nane rapper laughed off the claims when asked about the matter.

The Media Council of Kenya has issued a statement warning Citizen TV’s Jeff Koinange after he insisted on asking Francis Atwoli aboud his bedroom prowess.

MCK accused Koinange of exhibiting obscene behaviour on his show JKL on Wednesday, August 15, where he hosted Central Organisation of Trade Union (COTU) Secretary General.

In a statement addressed to Citizen TV’s editorial director on Thursday, August 16, David Omwoyo the CEO of MCK said the council found him culpable of flouting professional ethics by tolerating obscenity.

“The interview kicked of at 9.49pm where Jeff started by asking Francis Atwoli to clear the air about his marriage with TV anchor. Atwoli confidently admits he is married to Mary Kilobi but the host goes ahead to ask questions touching on private aspects like age difference between the two and Atwoli’s performance in bed,” read part of the statement

Jeff had insisted on certain questions that seemed to adress Atwoli’s bedroom matters outside the watershed hours.

“The questions Lakini bado kazi unafanya, (You still perform well), Katiba bado unasoma (you still read the Constitution) and Kazi unaweza (You can manage the job) are repeated severally in the interview. At one point Atwoli dismisses Koinange reminding him it’s important to be cautious about disclosing private issues for the sake of his children and audience,”  the statement adds

Atwoli then went on to caution the presenter over the matter.

The media council now wants Citizen Tv to send them measures that will be taken to ensure such does not happen again.

“By this letter MCK wishes to inform you that it reserves the rightto take disciplinary action against the host of the programme and the media in view of the above contravened clauses. In the meantime urgently furnish the council with steps taken to avoid such occurrences in future,”

Jeff Koinange breached the breached clause 13 of the code of conduct for the practice of journalism on protection of privacy.

Singer Otile Brown has finally opened up about his break up with curvaceous socialite Vera Sidika.

Otile now claims Vera is just playing victim with an aim to tarnish his reputation and destroy his music career.

In the video one man is seen pleading with the other man whom he is heard referring to as Sparta.

The man dressed in black is allegedly being beaten thorough for using sparta’s sister and dumping her.

“Uko na madem wangapi ndio unakujia sista yangu?Si ati ulikua unampenda, kumchezea tu.” Sparta is heard saying

The other man pleads for his life but the outraged sparta does not stop.

Several celebrities from across East Africa have voiced their concern over Bobi Wine’s detention.

Celebrities like Sauti Sol, Ray C, Julie Gichuru, Robert Alai, Boniface Mwangi, Jua Cali, and many others took to social media to demand the release of Bobi Wine.\

Bobi Wine was arrested on Monday August 13th following chaos that broke out on the last day of the campaigns for Arua Municipality MP. Wine’s driver Yasin Kawuma was shot dead by police during the chaos.

Reports that the Kyadondo East MP was severely tortured and injured have been trending on social media for the last few days.

Ugandan president Yoweri Museveni has since refuted the allegations via social media post.

“Countrymen, Countrywomen and especially, the Bazukulu.

Greetings. Some days have gone by while what President Trump calls “fake news” generators, especially the Monitor and their TV, the NTV, have been putting it out that our grandson, the indisciplined Bobi Wine, is gravelly ill, he cannot talk etc.

They were putting it out that because of their “rough” handling of the MPs while arresting them, the Security forces could have done grievous damage to Bobi Wine.

I decided to check with Army doctors because, being a disciplined Army, UPDF doctors always take precautions in such situations. Bobi Wine had already been seen by doctors in Arua, Gulu and Kampala. He has no head or chest injuries or bone fractures, they informed me.” Read Museveni’s statement

Over the weekend Ugandans living on Busia border held a protest march asking president Museveni to free the young leader. Protesters blocked all roads leading into Uganda among them trucks carrying goods into Uganda.

Maji Maji of the famous duo Gidi gid Maji Maji  is set to drop a music video featuring a former street kid he took under his wing.

The song dubbed ‘Kobole’ was originaly dropped in September last year but the video was yet to be released.

Philip Odera alias Kobole was a street kid for seven years before he met the artiste who saved him from the street.

The song whose video is already is already in progress will be officially released on 1st Semptember 2018.

An online ‘fan’ recently asked Keroche Breweries heiress Anerlisa Muigai how she calls herself a self-made billionaire if she is living from her mum’s toils.

The question seems to have angered Anerlisa who immediately fired shots at the said fan.

It all started when Anerlisa posted, “Once you make a little bit of your money, all these nig*as will have some sort of respect for you. #fact.”

Mikeztyme the online user fired the shot at her in her post.

Embakasi West member of parliament George Theuri surprised his wife with a brand new Mercedes benz over the weekend.

His wife, Cynthia Gitonga was turning a year older when the mp decided to get her a new ridethe new Mercedes Benz GLA200.

The controversial Member of Parliament has never shied away at showing the world just how much he treasures his wife.

“When nobody wanted to be associated with me because of my criminal activities, you proudly stood by me, when everyone else was ashamed to stand by us coz of our late son in church as I was suspended from the Bible school you stood by me,” he wrote back in 2015 as he celebrated her birthday.
