If you have been following up on gossip platforms for the past one week, then you must have come across news that Vera Sidika and Otile Brown broke up.

Rumours of their apparent break-up were fuelled by the fact that the socialite deleted all of Otile’s photos from all her social media platforms.

Days later, Otile Brown also took down all of Vera’s photos from his Instagram account and unfollowed her.

Turns out Vera and Otile just stirred online conversation to promote Otile Brown’s song which dropped on 31^st July.

The song dubbed ‘Baby love’ is Otile Brown’s dedication and re assurance of his love to his bae Vera.

Vera took to Instagram to share her joy after the song was dropped.

“When bae sings for you and it melts your heart (literally) I love you baby @otilebrown you’re the best and OMG your voice! I know I say this all the time but damn papi!!!!Just can’t get enough ???? …you’re one special, talented human ?’’ She wrote

The song which was dropped just a few hours ago already has close to two hundred and fifty thousand views on Youtube.

The singer who is the owner of Music Record label Wasafi and Diamond Karanga recently ventured into media with his Wasafi Tv which according to reviews is doing quite well.
Diamond now says he plans to launch Wasafi FM before 2018 ends and hopes it will do as good as his TV station.

Renowned Gospel musician Janet Otieno has come out to defend Gospel artistes who have collaborations with secular artistes.

Musicians like Willy Paul and Bahati have for some time been bashed for collaborating with secular artistes like Harmonize and Aslay from Tanzania.

Janet Otieno now says for gospel artistes to collaborate with their secular counterparts is not bad as long as they share the message well.

“I would say it’s not that bad if a gospel artiste collaborates with a secular artiste, every human being needs to offer their praises to God, but it has to be purely gospel, “she said

The singer however also stated that some gospel artistes lack mentorship hence the confusing songs ding rounds.

“We have a young generation of both male and female artistes who may be lacking mentorship; they are still growing and need some guidelines on how to go about it. Doing reggae, ragga or rap is not bad, we just need to address the content in the songs. Are we telling the artistes who are talented in these genres that they shouldn’t sing for God? Otherwise we’ll lose them to the secular world. Society is also to blame because it had gotten to a point where if you didn’t do a club-banger type of song then you wouldn’t get as much support for your music: airplay, award nominations and wins, or concerts. So it became more about showbiz rather than ministry”she added

Media personality Ciru Muriuki is leaving K24 Alfajiri.

Ciru has been hosting the morning show alongside actress and media personality Sarah Teshna and Jeff Mote.

She took to Instagram today morning to share the news.

Singer Chemutai Sage has spoken out about  her journey as a single mother and co-parenting with rapper King Kaka.

The two entertainers have a daughter together after a secret affair affair a few years back.

“Raising a child as a single mum is the most challenging things I have faced so far. I had a constant fear of wondering how I’m gonna deal with when she goes to school, and she will be asking herself, How comes I am not living with my dad? And that was the biggest worry. I have learnt that God is in control of everything,” she said in an interview with a local publication

The singer said that it has not been easy but she is glad she is managing so far.

“You know I am alone, other parents are paying fees together, they can handle that together. In the beginning, I was freaking out, but after her first term in school, I was able to pay her school fees and even to ensure she goes to school on time, and get everything she needed, including her snacks. It is learning how to let go and leaving God.” She added

The two solmenized their union on Wednesday, August 1, in a Swahili-themed colourful wedding ceremony held in Dar Es Salaam, Tanzania.

The wedding was attended by Ali Kiba, his siblings, family members, friends and other guests who were invited.

The guests shared Photos of the colourful event on social media while congratulating Zabibu and her husband.

78 year old Cecilia Wangari popularly known as Shosh Mahewa has been making headlines after a video of her fixing car stereo systems emerged.

Wangari runs “Shosh Sound Systems” shop located along Outering road in Nairobi and with a complete garage where she fixes music systems for public and private vehicles.

Speaking to Maji Maji and King Kafu on Ghetto Radio’s brekko, Shosh offered some inspiration to the youth urging them to pick themselves up and find something productive to do.

Wangari has worked as a conductor, a driver and a matatu owner before she decided to open her own hustle which has provided employment to some youth among them her grandson.

She went on to urge the Governor Nairobi county to provide youths with stalls where they can self employ theselves.

On relationship advice Shosh has urged women to look after their husbands like babies.

Tanzanian gospel star Bahati Bukuku has been banned from entering Congo after she allegedly conned a bishop of Ksh. 100,000.

The singer is alleged to have been contracted by Bishop Wamwabi to perform at a concert in Congo for Two hundred thousand shillings.

Bukuku was paid Ksh.100 thousand as a down payment but failed to show up for the concert and attempts to reach her by the organizers failed.

The Bishop reported the matter to Congolese as well as Tanzanian authorities where he is alleged to have ties.

Congolese government banned the singer from entering or doing anything in the country.

The singer denied the allegations saying that the bishop and the event organizers used her name to advertise the evnt a fact that was against their agreement.

“The advertised the event using my name saying I was going to perform at the concert. That wasn’t the agreement. We had also agreed in the contract that they would send me air fare but they didn’t. Did they expect me to land in Congo by miracle? I haven’t conned anyone.” She said

Kenyan singer Akothee ruthlessly slammed  a fan who threatened to report her to the authorities and have her sanctioned from visiting West African countries.

The fan identified as Ibezim Prosper said that he was the law in West Africa and he would write to the Kenyan Government to have her banned from visiting west African countries.

The drama started after Akothee posted a video of herself dancing in her bathroom dressed only in her bathrob and under garments.

Ibezim called the singer a disgrace before she retaliated triggering a back and forth between them.

@Akotheekenya like seriously do you know what you just did. I will put a sanction on you. That will stop you from visiting any West Africa countries. Am the law in West Africa and you should know what that means. I will write to your government. Enough is enough,”said Ibezim

Akothee then took a tackle at the said politician urging him to use his powers to seduce women.

Songstress Habida had an unfortunate turn of events on Friday night during the Terminal Weekend concert at KICC as she took to the stage.

The singer attempted to sing without much success disappointing the huge crowd that had sold out the event tickets.

Habida, who was also the event organizer, sang horribly on and on, even as part of the stiffed bored audience desperately struggled to persevere her performance.

When the audience’s patience finally ran out, they started booing her but Habida, who took to the stage just before star act of the night, American singer Keri Hilson, kept on singing.

During the same event singers Sage and June Gachui, kept their fans happy with great performances.

American R&B singer Horace Brown took the audience back to the 90’s with his classic hits such as Things We Do For Love and One For The Money, which had everyone singing along.

Football star Arnold Origi has announced that he would like to support teams between 8 to 15 years of age.

This was after a twitter user shared a photo of kids from Covenant academy in Kisumu playing football in the scorching midday sun bare feet.

On Monday 6th August, the actress took to social media to wish Princess Tiffah a happy Birthday, but made it clear that she will not attend the Birthday Party for the little princess.

Now another lady has caught Kenyans by suprise after she posted a suicide note on facebook saying she is tired of life.

The lady identified as Joki Sue says she is tired of pretentious people in her life asking them not to attend her funeral.

“Behind every smile there is a very painful past, but ever wished u don’t want to exist anymore,coz trust me, when u have everything ,u have everyone by ur side,but when u lose it all, even ur own blood can betray you, I know how it feels, I’ve experienced that already.
Don’t come to my grave crying asking God questions, just ask urself, “did I play my role in her life”, did u even add any value. How I wish I could have left an offspring to represent me in this cruel world, but its too late for that, forgive me ooh Lord!! only for the wise,” she wrote

She went on to say goodbye to her best friend urging her to take heart and thanking her for being a friend.

Word on the street has it that there may be trouble in paradise at Abdu Kiba’s house just to  onths after tying the knot.

Abdu said ‘I do’ to his wife Rwahida at a colorful wedding in Dar es Salaam days after his brother Ali Kiba’s wedding.

According to Global Publishers, a source close to the two revealed that Rwahida had moved out of their matrimonial home accusing her husband of being a party animal.

The source also reported that Abdu Kiba has been coming home late and according to the wife, she feels no love from him.
