- Tanasha Donna’s 2019 birthday gift
Last year Diamond Platnumz gifted his now estranged lover a brand new Toyota Prado during her joint birthday party with his mum.
Since their separation a few days ago, fans have been eager to know whether Tanasha traveled back to Kenya with her birthday gift.
According to Diamond’s family friend and blogger Juma Lokole, Tanasha could not travel back with the car because it is not registered in her name.
The car prado gifted to Tanasha during the great Gatsby birthday party is allegedly registered under Diamond’s mum, Sandra Kassim.
A fan recently asked the blogger whether there were plans to sell the car since Tanasha left it behind.
“The car is still there. Why should it be sold? Naseeb is not one to sell his property,” he said
Asked why she did not take the car,Lokole revealed that the car is not Tanasha’s.
“Why should Tanasha leave with the car? The car belongs to Mama Dangote. In fact all the cars,” he added
- Zari Hassan and new man
Another one of Diamond’s exes also made it to the headlines this week.
Zari Hassan may just have parted ways with her South African man,King Bae.
The two allegedly tied the knot in a private affair in 2019 and the lass was fond of sharing his photos on social media.
Early this year fans noticed that he had been missing from the socials and inquired his whereabouts.
The socialite has ignited the rumors that she is dating another man after she was spotted cozying up to a new face.
The two have apparently been spending some quality time at Kaazi beach resort in Uganda.
The new man is Ugandan singer Deus Ndugwa popularly known as Grenade.
- Bahati and Peter Blessing
EMB boss Bahati was on Tuesday, March 10, 2020, summoned at Milimani Law Courts over his lawsuit against fellow musician Peter Munyaru alias Peter Blessings.
On 28th January, Bahati filed a law suit against Peter Blessings on grounds of obtaining Sh2,039,000 from his record label by falsely pretending that he was able to produce music videos.
The singer who was to testify on Tuesday morning did not show up in court until afternoon.
Senior Principal Magistrate Bernard Ochoi adjourned the case to 3 pm in order to have Bahati, who is the complainant in the case, testify.
The singer argued that he was unable to testify during the morning session because he was feeling unwell.
Bahati is set to testify during the next hearing on April 9, 2020.
- Bruz Newton goes secular
Gospel star Bruz Newton who rose to fame after his hit Bazokizo featuring Collo Mfalme has ditched the gospel industry.
The singer recently dropped a Gengetone song dubbed ‘Washa Moto’ that left many questioning if he is now a secular artist.
On Tuesday, the singer broke his silence over the controversy saying that he is a creative and as such does not want to be confined within specific creative walls.
“I just decided to make music without walls around me, because I’m a creative. We were not created to be in walls but be free to exploit and showcase our potentials without limits. I also want to be the next great performer, because before music I’m a dance choreographer and I want to dance to anything without feeling condemnation,” he said
He however maintains that he has not changed but is merely filling a gap in the industry.
- Papa Dennis’ murder
Simon Mwangi, the twin brother to the late gospel star Papa Dennis has left many questioning if his brother was pushed to his death.
Speaking at a recent interview, Simon narrated how Papa Dennis had warned him that someone was trying to kill him (Simon)
He however says the fallen singer did not reveal who or why he was to be killed.
Simon maintains that he has been living very fearfully since his brother died.
“I have been fearful because i do not know what happened to my brother, right now i cannot even walk alone at night, before papa died he was told I was the one to die first. I had gone to Jamhuri and we met at the junction mall, he told me someone had told him, ‘i was to die’. He never told me why or who was to end my life. I prayed to god and asked that he protect me, but if it was my time then so be it.” He said
Mwangi insists that according to the post mortem report, his brother was killed.
He maintains that there are still conflicting reports whether he was pushed from the 4th or 7th floor.
“We were in the studio when he left. We don’t know what happened. I’m still waiting for DCI to let us know. My brother was killed. Based on the postmortem, he did not fall. There are many inconsistencies on if he fell from a 7th floor of the building or the 4th floor of the building. Also we were shown how a person who has fallen from the second floor of a building looks like and if you compare that with hos papa Dennis looked on the night he passed on, they don’t match” he said
