Michael Jackson’s iconic Jacket sold for ksh.29 million

Michael Jackson’s iconic black jacket which he wore during his ‘bad’ album tour in 1987 to 89 has been auctioned for $298,000 (Sh29 million)

The initial asking price was $100,000 (Sh10 million) by Juliens auction center which also auctions costumes from Madonna,John Lennon and the late Prince.

In 2011 Jackson’s black and red leather jacket yenye alivaa kwa video ya thriller ilikua auction at ksh. 189 million.

The piece is one of the late singer’s most iconic costume pieces alongside his red and black leather “Thriller” music video jacket that sold for $1.8 million (Sh180 million)  at auction in 2011.
