Rapper Khaligraph Jones has finally responded to Octopizzo’s diss in his new single dubbed ‘Noma Ni’.
The song which is one among many in Octo’s latest album, Next year, calls out Khaligraph’s fast rap as show off.
“Hizo chocha za kurap faster buda jo come slowly. Niliwapeleka kaburini so wanajua ni mazishi, na kwa hio matanga yenu bana husikii bado tutadishi.” goes some of the lyrics.
Khaligraph has said he has no beef with Octopizzo despite the diss.
“Of late kuna nyimbo imetolewa juzi juzi Octopizzo akinidiss and my people expect Khaligraph is going to respond to that, mimi huambianga wasee two years ago mimi nilikiwa na beef na Octo, lakini saa hizi mahali miaka yangu imenifikisha siwezi, unajua watu hu grow-up hauwezi shindilia kwa kitu moja.” he said (Of late there is a song that was released dissing me and my people expect me to respond. I have always said two years ago I had beef with Octopizzo but at my age now I have no time for beef. People grow up one can’t keep holding on to one thing.)
Khaligraph went on to urge Octo to go on with the beef if he so wishes saying that he is so over it.
“Hiyo ilipita kama anatakuendelea na diss sawa, juzi alisema hakuna kitu atagain akifanya ngoma na mimi haina shida, lakini akitaka ngoma akuje tuingie studio tupige ngoma, itoke watu wajue mazishi ni ile ile,” said Khaligraph. (If he wants to go on with the diss its fine. the other day he said he is not gaining anything by doing a collabo with me, Its okay but if he wants a collabo let him come, we go to the studio and release a song.”
The artists backlash come just days ahead of their face off at a gig to be held at Ngong’ racecourse.
