Ghetto Radio presenter James Kang’ethe popularly known as Bonoko shared some early valentine love with KTN news anchor Betty Kyalo when he was hosted for the weekly Friday briefing on the 19th of January 2018.
Bonoko who has grown to be a house hold name is an inspiration to many who know his story.
In the Friday interview the presenter one again won many hearts when he presented the sassy Betty Kyalo with an early Valentine present. Bonoko pulled out a pack of KDF mandazis which are currently an internet sensation.
The highlight of the moment was when the gift arrived wrapped in a newspaper as opposed to a gift wrapper.
The dazzled Kyalo could not keep her cool at the moment was thrown in a frenzy of laughter.
“Wewe usijali imefungwa na nini bora zawadi imefika,” quipped Bonoko amid Betty’s laughter.
He then shared a cup of tea and the mandazi’s with the sassy presenter amid the Friday briefing.
During the interview, the vocal presenter shared about his life on the streets of Nairobi and how he was glad to have gotten a second chance in life.
Bonoko revealed how he had to sniff glue to survive the harsh nights on the rough floors at Globe round about.
The radio presenter rose to fame when he shared an eye witness account when he saw cops gun down a man and place a fake gun on his lieless body. His vivid but hilarious narration earned him a ticket to join the Ghetto Radio team hence his second shot at life.
