B-club soundproofs its premises one week after NEMA shut down

B-club owner Barry Ndegeyingoma has raised the bar high for Nairobi club owners after he decided to fully soundproof his club.

Bclub lounge was closed down by the National Environment Management Authority (NEMA) after failing to follow Environmental Management and Coordination Act CAP 387 and the Noise and Excessive Vibration Pollution Control regulations of 200.

The club is set to reopen on Saturday, 20th January.

Entertainment joints such as Kiza, Space lounge and Jiweke Tavern were shut down after complaints by neighbors on loud music playing the whole night.

B-club financial manager Harold Kinda shared images of the club being sound proofed and also sent out a signed letter to show that the club was complying with the NEMA regulations.
