The names Ann Wambui and Wilson Mutura Wanjohi might not ring a bell. However, with the mention of the cheapest and simplest wedding that costs 100 Kshs…..Kenyans can relate.
Well, the “100Kshs Couple” from Mwiki Kasarani is already a household name thanks to one of the top media houses for airing their love and cheapest wedding tale.
Things have since worked onto their favor and it is yesterday that their dream of having a big white wedding came to pass.
The couple, Mr&Mrs Wilson Mutura Wanjohi for the second time renewed their vows during an exclusively paid 3.5 million Kshs ceremony.
A photo doing rounds captures the two love birds breaking down in tears in disbelief. Everything happened too fast thanks to social media.
Besides the paid wedding, the couple is yet to enjoy a paid honeymoon in Dubai!!
Talk of blessings!!
And if that’s not enough, a greenhouse is waiting them plus a raised business capital to propel them in the future life.
But who said God doesn’t work wonders?
Ngugi Nyoro tells otherwise;
“My friend if you ever want to learn more about the Grace of God please refer to the story of Wilson Mutura Wanjohi. Employed as a fruit seller at Kasarani, he happily executed his role perfectly with no reservations.And when it came to church matters, he served God with all his heart and soul. He is a member of praise and worship team.
The morning before their Kshs 100 wedding, he danced passionately during praise and worship session before dashing to buy the two rings that would be used for their ‘ceremony’.Wilson happily wedded Anne in the simplest wedding of the year. And because he honoured God, our Lord honoured him too.
Soon the couple will be working on their greenhouse to boost their income. And how about the feeling of today’s mega celebration. Indeed, God has opened floodgates of heaven. It’s raining favour after another. To God be the glory….,” read a caption on popular charity fundraiser on Ngugi Nyoro on his Facebook timeline.
