19 year old wannabe socialite Shakilla has finally bowed to pressure and apologized to footballer Victor Wanyama.

In a video shared online, Shakilla said she has never met the international football star.

She further claimed the things she said on Xtian Dela’s Insta live were lies because she was drunk and over excited to be on Xtian’s Instalive.

“I would like to take this opportunity to apologise to victor wanyama and say sorry for the horrible things that i said about him. I’ve never met victor and neither has he paid me nor had sex with me. I was drunk at the time, foolish and excited being on x-tian’s live show. I apologize to his family and i’m sorry for any pain that i may have caused. I would like to take this opportunity to warn young people against the dangers of social media and the risk of being enticed into chasing fame.” She said

In an interview with Xtian Dela sometime in September, Shakilla claimed she made some good cash from Wanyama whom she met with just when he got back from a tournament.

She named a number of celebrities claiming they all paid her some good cash to dip their hands in her cookie jar.

After the video went viral Wanyama responded threatening to take legal action against the socialite.

Wanyama also revealed that following the video’s virality he has instructed his management to take legal action against the two.

“My attention has been drawn to a video circulating online containing false, fabricated and insulting allegations aimed at scandalizing my good name and reputation. I wish to distance myself completely from the contents of this defamatory video. The allegations made therein are a total fabrication and a figment of the maker’s imagination at its best. I have never met any party in the video…..I am prepared to go to great lengths to protect my good name and character. Consequently with the blessing of my management team I have instructed my legal team to pursue all legal remedies available to me and to which I have the unreserved right to seek.” Read the statement in part

Genge star Mejja has been forced to respond after a local podcast host claimed he conned him Kes.12,000 shillings.

According to the young man who runs a podcast called MtandaoVersity that brands itself as a school of soft skills, he paid Mejja for an interview, only for him not to show up.

Mtandaoversity claimes Mejja asked for Ksh 12000 and an extra Ksh 1500 for internet bundles in order to appear for the interview.

The podcaster hit out at Mejja describing him as “arrogant, a liar, opportunistic, naïve and a disrespectful person”.

Mejja has however fired back saying the whole scandal is pure nonsense.

The rapper said he has never asked anyone for money in order to be part of their project.

According to Mejja, he doesn’t even get paid for the collabos he does because he chooses to do them for free.

Mejja also said he is considering taking a break from singing so as to focus on his mental health.

Veteran media personality Leonard Mambo Mbotela is appealing for help to raise Kes.1.1 million shillings to offset a medical bill.

The media personality was reportedly admitted at the Nairobi South Hospital on October 29^th and is set to be discharged but has been unable to clear the bill.

In a letter from the hospital’s Human Resource Manager, Stephen Mutavi, Mbotela’s bill currently stands at slightly over 1.1 million shillings.

“He is due for discharge Friday November 13, 2020 as per the doctor’s recommendations to continue with homecare treatment, the medical bills have accumulated to Ksh.1,105,498.78 as of today and have to be cleared upon discharge. Any assistance given towards offsetting this bill will be highly appreciated.” He said

He revealed that after turning down the deal, he was called by Willy M Tuva who wanted to know why he turned down the deal.

3. Harmonize’s fake Diamond speaks

A male Tanzanian video vixen who caused ripples after featuring in Harmonize’s latest song ‘Ushamba’ also broke his silence over the controversy.

The man who featured in Harmonize’s song as Diamond Platnumz says he had no intention of portraying Diamond in Bad light.

He claims he feels like the singer used him to fuel his beef with the WCB CEO.

Speaking to Tanzanian reporters, the video vixen said Harmonize had assured him that it had nothing to do with his beef with Diamond.

“I am not happy with how things turned out…I had talked to Harmonize after meeting him and he said he had no ill intention with me acting as Diamond in the song. They even brought a lady and directed me on what to do.” He said

The vixen further added that he was even paid a good amount of money which they had agreed on with Harmonize’s management.

In the short clip, Cartoon causes drama while leaving her man saying hse has had enough of his English saying that it is affecting her.

Well Timmy’s latest song with the same tittle as the clip has also used Cartoon’s voice from the clip as his song’s chorus.

Fans are however angered by the fact that the young upcoming comedian has not been credited anywhere on Timmy’s song, in fact there is no mention of her anywhere.

Fans are now asking the controversial rapper to acknowledge the young comedian and give credit or pay for the rights to use her voice in his song.

Nigeria’s Reekado Banks who was meant to headline the event failed to perform raising eyebrows.

The event organizers earlier claimed that the singer was unable to perform because of the set curfew time.

The event allegedly drew too close to curfew hours forcing policemen to disperse revelers before the main act performed.

A close source has however spilled that Reekado Banks failed to perform at the NaiFest because he had not been paid.

According to a source who spoke to a local publication, Reekadoh failed to show up on stage because the management owed him 500K.

“Reekado did not perform at Naifest because he had not been paid his balance of Sh500K ($500). Organizers saying it was because of the curfew is a lie. He had not been paid, so he couldn’t perform,” said our source.

Earlier comedian Fred Omondi who was also the event’s MC said Reekado was unable to perform because the police ordered everyone to leave the venue.

This is what happened, by the time @Otilebrown performed it was past 7pm already and you know when @Iamazspan­_kob and @Kaligraphjones take the stage its funeral, King is King. When Reekado was about to perform, few minutes past 9pm, we were notified to pack up since there was sale of alcohol too and the law is clear that by 9pm you close up and 10pm, curfew so we couldn’t do anything but I’m happy it happened.” He said

Diamond Platnumz’s sister Esma Platnumz was recently hospitalized for unkown reason.

The former TPF favorite was taken to hospital for a checkup following his rescue.

“We have picked him and taken him to hospital. A team of physicians and psychiatrists are looking after him. We appreciate everyone who has called asking how they can help,” Alvan posted.

Comedian Daniel Ndambuki popularly known as Churchill has broken his silence after his apprentice Eric Omondi launched his own production studios.

In a post shared online, Churchill congratulated Eric Omondi on the move saying he is proud of his (Omondi’s) achievements.

“Congrats ⁦ @ericomondi_⁩ .. the fight isn’t against humanity..it is against poverty..tuchape kazi.” he wrote

A fan then comented how it was a good gesture for Churchill to congratulate Eric Omondi yet they are in the same competitive space.

Churchill responded to the fan identified as Arap Memes online saying he is in no competition with Omondi.

“Haha..we’re not competing..we complementing each other” Churchill added

Eric Omondi officially launched his production studios as well as his company Big Tyme Entertainment on Tuesday.

The comedian said it has always been a dream to help creatives in the industry adding that he is proud to officially be able to do so.

“Studios and opened Big Tyme Offices. God has done it once again but this is just a tip of the iceberg. All my life I dreamt of an opportunity to showcase my craft to the world but my biggest dream has always been to create a space for creatives. These Studios we launched yesterday are for every artist, Musicians, Comedians Actors…These Studios are also to ensure maximum quality production for our corporate clients and partners. Jamaican artist Buju Banton has suffered a major loss after the nomination committee for Caribbean American Heritage Awards (CARAH) updated the 2020 nomination list and ejected his name.

The committee had earlier announced that Buju would be one of the recipients of the 2020  (CARAH) Awards.

According to international reports, the committee updated the list following Buju Banton’s anti-face mask rant back in October 2020.

The Jamaica Gleaner reports that when reached for comment,  the management only responded with ‘Our official stance is that talks stalled,’  ‘we are in talks with his (Banton’s) management’ and ‘the organization is still committed to working with Banton’s foundation’.

Buju was to be honored for his “outstanding contribution to reggae music” at the virtual event set to be held on November 20.

In the new updated list however,  CARAH press release names three Jamaican honorees – Don Wehby, group chief executive officer, GraceKennedy Limited; Olympian Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce; and veteran reggae singer Judy Mowatt.

On 21st October, Buju went on an anti face mask rant on social media and asked Jamaicans to stop wearing masks.

In a video shared on Instagram, Buju said if someone was meant to die they will die and no mask will protect them.

The 47 year old singer added that Jamaicans are tired of politicians telling them how to live their lives and vowed not wear a mask.

“We wan done wid dis mask wearing bullsh-t inna Jamaica. Who fi dead ago dead and who nah go dead, haffi jus live. We tired of you intellectual fools trying to tell us how to live our lives, you are so smart why you haven’t found the cure for cancer,” he declared in the first of three Instagram videos uploaded today, October 21 which he captioned “Free My People Now” he said

He went on to blame authorities for the layoffs and the negative hit on the economy.

“Jamaican people need fi wake up. Mi nah wear no mask cause mask nuh mek fi man,” he said. “Free my people!” he added
