Media personality Betty Kyallo has broken her silence surrounding her Porsche cayenne that was repossed by governor Joho a few years back.

According to articles that did rounds after she parted ways with Mr. OO1, the car was taken away from her while driving along Mombasa road.

After years of staying mum on the controversy, Betty Kyallo has finally opened up about the matter.

Speaking to Radio personality Billy Miya a few days ago, Betty Kyallo termed the articles as fake.

She says the stories were initiated by a former friend of hers who went around trash talking her.

She said she was not forced out of the car at Nyayo Stadium on Mombasa road.

She also added that she did not part ways with the governor bitterly.

“Is it true that ulinyang’anywa gari katikati ya bara bara?” asked Billy

To which Betty responded saying “No that was not true, sometimes I read stories online and wonder if they are talking about me. Anyway that never happened. Me and all my exes have never parted ways bitterly. You know sometimes when you move in life, some people are not happy, the story came from a former friend who went and said all those things but that was not true.”

Speaking in a recent episode on his Vlog, Frankie refuted the claims saying he has been taking care of his children.

According to the fitness enthusist, he has been sending his ex Maureen Waititu upkeep for his children every week.

“Let me just be candid, I send 6000 for my children every week. I also take care of my son Lexi’s school fee at Montessori which is about 150K. The arrangements I have right now is that my mum helps me pay the school fees. My children have tow nannies, well at least they did untill recently and Baby mama and I had an agreement on how to pay the two nanies. I pay a certain amount she pays the other amount. The media personality hinted that she was having a meeting with one of the media managers in the country.

Veteran Actor Charles Bukeko famed for his role in the TV show Papa Shirandula has taken the final bow at the age of 58.

Confirming the news, the family said Bukeko – a firstborn in a family of four — died on Saturday morning at Karen Hospital after a short illness.

Bukeko was a multiple award-winning actor who scooped the Kalasha Award for ‘Best Actor in a TV Series’ in 2010.

He leaves behind a wife, Beatrice Ebbie Andega, and three children; Tony, Charlie and Wendy.

The entertainment industry players and fans have taken to social media to mourn the fallen star.

Veteran actor Charles Bukeko famed for his role as Papa Shirandula was on Monday morning laid to reat at his home in home in Nanderema- Funyula,  Busia County.

The actor died on Saturday morning while waiting to be admitted at the Karen hospital after developing breathing complications.

While paying last respects to the actor, his wife Beatrice Andega said that before his death, the actor had a busy three weeks that had him working late into the night and when he came home, he complained of feeling cold.

“For the last three weeks, they were working day and night on Sunday alikuja akaniambia nasikia mwiliwangu uko na baridi mingi the on Monday I tell him you have been in cold go to the hospital and do tests. I told him make sure they do three tests on you, Pneumonia, Malaria and Covid-19. He went took the tests on Monday and was waiting for results. On Wednesday, I ask him he said that the doctor had brought the results, but the only one he was seeing was covid-19 results. On Friday, I started observing he wasn’t doing well and his breathing had changed. On Saturday I tell Albert help me put him in the car we take him to the hospital. I went to Karen Hospital, admission was another process. I told them he needs support and while they were preparing, he passed on while I was with him in the vehicle,”  she said

His burial was attended by fellow actors and comedians he worked with on his Citizen TV program Papa Shirandula and others.

His body was left Nairobi on Sunday night, arriving at his home in the wee hours of Monday morning, flanked by two buses of mourners.

Those who traveled from Nairobi sat at a different tent, away from the rest of the mourners with locals advised to avoid any contact with them.

The burial was conducted in line with the set guidelines on Covid-19 related deaths.

Churchill show Comedian George Maina Njoroge alias Njoro is appealing for help from his fans.

The comedian has opened up on battling depression and alcoholism since last year.

Speaking to fellow comedian Zainabu Zeddy, Njoro disclosed that he has attempted to commit suicide thrice as a result of depression but all the attempts failed.

Njoro revealed that the last three months of 2019,were very hard for him and he made a decision to throw himself off a cliff but a stranger intervened and saved his life.

Njoro was among public figures who attended Bukeko’s burial in Nanderema, Samia sub-county, Busia county on Monday morning.

In the said photo, a rugged looking Njoro is holding the fallen actor’s grave cross looking teary.

The actor shared a photo of himself standing next to Papa’s grave, holding the cross while clenching his fists, a clear indication he was extremely emotional at the moment.

Immediately after the photos surfaced online, fans came out to condole with Njoro.

On Tuesday Cebbie was trending after an unidentified lady claimed that Cebbie broke her marriage after having an affair with her husband for the past four years.

In the same leaked conversations Cebbie went on to say that her sister lives a fake lifestyle.

The lass was speaking to her alleged bae telling him how her sister has nothing but brags of owning the world on social media.

Former Kenyan singer Stephen Kevin Waweru of the band Sema that included Sanaipei Tande and Pam Waithaka has sent out a cry for help.

Kev as he was known back in the day was part of Kenya’s coca cola popstars that dominated airwaves with hits like Leta Wimbo, Sakalakata and Mwewe.

In a short clip that has since gone viral, Kevin who has been living with his parents owing to the tough times says he urgently needs help.

According to Kev, his father has been repulsive towards him and has been trying to evict him from home.

He narrates how on one incident, his father ran after him with a machete telling him to leave home.

“I am under attack by my dad. He wants to kick me out again. This has been recurring. He has some attitude towards me. The other day he took a machete and chased me away..I had to run for my dear life. That was sometime in 2019. We’ve had it rough. My dad wants me out because he thinks I come home drunk. I take short walk just to think and meditate because things were starting to look up until Covid happened. My Dad is literally pushing me to the edge. He just wants me out.” He said

The five minute video is the first Kenyans have seen of Kevin since he disappeared from the limelight over ten years ago.

Pam Waithaka, a former Sema band mate also hit the headlines sometime back after she was spotted looking drunk and disorderly.

In 2017, she was admitted at a Rehab center to help her recover from alcoholism.

Kenyan Boy Band Kaskazini has been disbanded after two of its members left the group.

According to a post shared online, the two members Israel Onyach and Eugene Ywaya left the group following a mutual agreement.

The band says it was not an easy decision to make but it was the only way to go.

They further thanked their fans for the support they have been receiving since their introduction into the Sol Generation and their years of working together.

“To our beloved fans, you’ve been our family since the days of ‘pombe’ to our first official single, ‘if I had your number’ Words cannot explain the gratitude that we have towards you guys for your constant love and support. This decision was not an easy one for us, regardless, we’re grateful for what we’ve achieved so far. It was a collective and mutual agreement made by the team Kaskazini that Israel Onyach and Ywaya Eugene have left the band to embark on a different journey,” said Kaskazini.

Kaskazini now remains with Chris Clave who has been the band’s lead singer.

Earlier this year, Kaskazini was rumored to have quit Sol Generation, barely a year after the Sauti Sol owned label introduced them.

The group’s social media bio however still indicates that their bookings are still done through Sol Generation.

They are the second artistes to exit Sol Generation after the label’s first lady Crystal Asige made her exit late last year.

Gospel singer Ruth Matete will finally lay her husband to rest almost three and a half months after he passed on.

The late pastor Beloved John Olakami Apewajoye will be laid to rest at the Lang’ata cemetery on Thursday.

A family spokesman confirmed that the remains of the late Beloved John Apewajoye will be interred later on Thursday.

The body of the late pastor has been lying at Kenyatta National Hospital (KNH) Mortuary since April 11.

The Nairobi based Nigerian pastor succumbed to his injuries while undergoing treatment at the hospital following a gas explosion accident at their home in Athi River on 30^th March.

A Pathologists’ report revealed that the pastor had suffered 60 per cent burns that triggered a condition called sepsis leading to multiple organ failure.

Sepsis is a life-threatening condition caused by the body’s response to an infection. The body normally releases chemicals into the bloodstream to fight infection. Sepsis occurs when the body’s response to these chemicals is out of balance, triggering changes that can damage multiple organ systems.

Ms Matete has been struggling to clear her late husband’s accumulated hospital bills amounting to over Sh600,000.

She recently set up an Mchanga account to allow Kenyans to help her raise the money.

Singer Esther Akoth aka Akothee on Wednesday raised eyebrows among her fans after sharing a post talking about death.

In the now deleted post, Akothee talked about how things should be handled just in case worse comes to worse and she breaths her last.

She said that her medical bills at any time should be handled by her Insurance Cover but should it get exhausted, then her assets should be sold to care for her.

Akothee went on to say that no one should set up a paybill in the name of raising money for her burial.

“Family is Family ,even at my death bed ,I will always be there for my family , My sister inlaw was buried in my absence since I was down fighting for my health at The Karen Hospital But I still joined the family financially where I could. Me and buying coffins and dresses , in funerals I have no idea why I would miss to pay my hospital Bill’s and attend to others ,what an irresponsible woman .

Like I told you before , I have medical insurance, last expense, and I have insured my mother & my sisters Son , insurance could not take my dad because of his age and medical conditions, I am paying his hospital Bill’s from my pocket , which I am very okey with My inpatient covers upto 5,000,000 m. ksh. So After this is exhausted and I am broke, please just offload one of my Assets and bury me in peace My coffin is already taken care of, anyway, as I have last funeral expense cover. Anyone coming up with a paybill on my burial will be a scam.” She said

Akothee further went on to insist that should she die, the she should be buried at her home in Rongo.

“I am not God, I don’t know the nature of my death or illness, it might even surpass what insurance can cover , but trust you me! My many husbands will fery me to Europe ! But I will be buried in RONGOSPAR . DO NOT KEEP ME IN ICU FOR NOTHING IF I BECOME USELESS, DON’T PUT MY CHILDREN IN TOO MUCH PAIN , THAT THEY HAVE TO OFFLOAD ASSETS / SAVINGS TO TRY RECOVER DEAD BODY .
