A court has ordered the temporary closure of Space Lounge and Grill on Ngong’ Road, Nairobi, pending the determination of a noise pollution case.
According to the Star, Magistrate Mary Murage revoked the popular club’s permit pending the case on loud music.
Murage also prohibited servants, agents, employees, representatives, tenants and or any other person from playing music at the lounge.
She directed the Kilimani police station OCS to ensure the lounge complies.
The club has been embroiled in a legal tussle with neighbours over playing loud music at night.
