Now,yesterday Iposted an article about Laura Akunga being hospitalised over the 17 Million Debt as reported by The Nairobian Newspaper.
The published by the Nairobian on 3rd July dubbed “You Owe Me Millions of Money”, which gave detailed information about Laura Akunga’s fraud case with Mr Sriram Bharatam and mentioned lots of companies has led to many of them expressing displease with the Newspaper.
One of the companies mentioned in the article is Family Bank who wrote a letter to the Standard Group to inform them of their displease and ordering a public apology from The Nairobian as well as scrapping of all misleading articles about Akunga from their websites.
Family bank states that the information given by the Standard Group was Factually Incorrect,pointing that the Newspaper failed to verify with the bank before posting the article.
A deadline of 10th July has also been given to The Standard Group to do as instructed, failure to which a suit will be filed against them by Family Bank.
