Ali Kiba is arguably Tanzania’s best artiste at the moment after he was accoladed with 6 out of 7 awards that he had been nominated for in the recent Kilimanjaro Awards and Tuzo Zetu Awards too.
It is after his triumphal comeback that a war between his fans and Diamond’s fans ensued with the latter claiming he didn’t deserve the awards.
The singer who was in the country the whole of last week courtesy of Coke Studio season 3 cleared the rumors about his alleged beef with Diamond Platnumz.
Speaking exclusively to Lilian Muli on ‘OneOnOne’ Show last Friday on Citizen TV,Alikiba denied rumors that his relationship with fellow artiste Diamond is on cold rocks;
“Don’t believe what you hear out there. There’s no beef between me and Diamond, and there has never been. I can assure you that Diamond and I have never fought over anything.”
“I am me and Diamond is Diamond. We each have our own musical styles. I do my music in a way that only I can. So, I will not feel that because Diamond is out there doing collabos with others that I must do the same,”
he added.
Ali Kiba is also currently working with Oscar Award Winning Actress Lupita Nyongo in a call to campaign for conservation of Elephants.
