The Kenya Film and Classification Board Boss Ezekiel Mutua has downplayed the ongoing news of his sacking terming them  ‘malicious’ with no known source as his office has not fallen vacant.

He took to twitter and rubbished the allegations as mere rumours.

“My attention has been drawn to reports on social media to the effect that I have been fired as CEO of KFCB. PLEASE IGNORE such malicious rumours. I am not aware of such developments and there can be no grain of truth in them as there’s no vacancy in the office of the CEO KFCB,” tweeted Mutua.

The moral cop went ahead and quoted a Bible verse while anchoring his trust in God to aid him in fighting his battles.

“If this be so, our God whom we serve is able to deliver us from the burning fiery furnace, and he will deliver us out of your hand, O King. But if not, be it known to you, O King, that we will not serve your gods.. Daniel3:17-18

The God of the Hebrew boys is still God today, ” wrote Mutua.

Mutua is hated and loved in equal measure,he slammed Gengetone artist’s for their content and gave them blackout not only on mainstream media but also on public service vehicles,at some point he got fired for how he handled Socialite Bridget Achieng’s leaked nudes with that of presidential candidate Mukhisa Kituyi, he was mum in Bridget’s case but threatened to carry out arrest’s something that did not go well with the public.

Mutua has also received criticism when he withdrew the board’s support from aiding comedian Mulamwa and Former Gospel Singer Kevin Bahati’s ‘Love Like This’ album launch for violating the ‘Clean Content’ guidelines.

Comedian Erick Omondi would later step out and hand Bahati 200,000/-which Mutua had promised but failed to honour.

Through a phonecall interview with a local media station, Mutua termed Eric Omondi as not only broke but also depressed with the entire creative industry.

Angered by the statement, hip hop Star Khaligraph Jones shut off Mutua by placing 500K for his rap battle in assisting Covid ravaged rapper’s which also got a boost from betting firm Odibets with 4.5Million.

Eric Omondi swore to have Mutua fired from the office. Do you think Mutua’s goose has finally been cooked?
