Award winning Hip hop Star Khaligraph Jones has faced a backlash from a section of netizens for calling himself a G.O.A.T(Greatest Of All Time).
The ‘Mazishi’ rapper took to Instagram where he made the sentiments adding that he was the sole reason other rappers are still relevant.
According to Khaligraph, if he chose to call it a day from the rap business all their careers would be dead.
“Omollo The Goat, I’m The Reason Why Your Favourite Rappers are still Relevant, all of them, if I stop rapping today, all their careers are gone,” read part of Khaligraph’s statement complete with his photo.
The comment section started filling up with many calling out the rapper for his big ego.
“Wewe pride ndo inakucontroo sahii… YOU ARE LOOSING TRACK MF,” fired one user.
“Bado piga ten years kwa game ndo ujiite goat,” shot another user.
“Bado uko chini kama Ugali source maintain your lane until you get there niggah you have not yet attained a million dollars yet and here yip yapping na ushamba mingi mingi gett outta here,” wrote another user.
“Buy a Rolls-Royce kama wenzako we respect you 
” flew another comment.
However, some felt that the Kayole raised Star deserved to lay himself the tag ‘goat’ and showed their allegiance.
“The OG must be respected,” wrote one fan.
“Kabisa OG… 
,” wrote a second fan.
Khaligraph Jones who fondly refers to himself as ‘Baba Yao’ started out his career as a gospel Star before switching to secular music.
He has been on a steady rise since then. In 2009 he won the channel O Emcee Africa, In 2018 he won the Best Rap act (Afrimma) in Dallas Texas and 2020 he bagged the Best Hip hop act at Sound City MVP Awards in Nigeria.
