Bongo sensation Diamond Platnumz over the weekend flew Rhumba maestro Koffi Olomide to Tanzania for a brief studio session.
Koffi jetted in Tanzania on Saturday November 21st and was received by the WCB president before spending time at Diamond’s place.
Koffi said he was happy to be meeting Diamond adding that he is excited for their new project.
“Am happy to meet the King of the country, Diamond and I’m here to work with Diamond, to do something to amaze Africa and the world and am sure that it will be a very big success. My language is music, his language is music, so expected something big” he said
The two have hinted that they are working on a song together that will feature on Diamond’s upcoming album.
In a post shared on Instagram, Koffi hinted that the song will be a major banger.
“Already in Studio to make Good music with @DiamondoPlatnumz You won’t be disappointed. Boss Ya Mboka” Koffi said
Diamond also teased fans saying they are not ready for the project that is about to drop.
He added that he is happy to work with the Rhumba maestro adding that it is a privilege.
“Koffi is an Icon of Africa and the world and having him here is a pleasure. Kwangu mimi ukiniambia Mwanzamuziki wa Afrika ambaye ni Icon ni Koffi, na leo kuwa naye Tanzania na kuhakikisha kitu kibwa kinakuja ni faraja sana kwangu” Diamond said
