Media personality Amina Abdi Rabar has responded to questions on her absence on Friday’s the Tend Live.
In a post shared on Instagram, Amina revealed that she was away because of medical reasons and nothing more.
In the post, Amina revealed that she underwent surgery a few days ago and hoped that she will be better by Friday’s show but ended up feeling worse that before.
“Sucks I won’t be in today for @thetrendlive 
I usually don’t share much online but for those very very very very very few lol! Who’ll DM me to ask why I didn’t come, I had surgery a couple of days ago & I thought I’d be better by now but I’m in even more pain sigh. Ni life

” she wrote
The news comes days after a local publication claimed that she has quit her job at Capital FM.
The publication claimed that she quit her job at the radio station over a rough patch and even quoted her co-host Fareed Khimani announcing that he will soon have a new host.
“Amina Abdi will not be returning and I will be joined soon by a new co-host. She has gone to do big and better things,” Khimani announced.
