Controversial blogger Edgar Obare has been released on a Kes. 100,000 bail.
Blogger Xtian Dela shared the news on his social media handles revealing that Obare was represented by lawyer Kepher Ojijo.
“Yup!! Edgar Obare is finally out on a cash bail of Ksh 100,000!!..It’s been a crazy couple of days but THANKS to everyone who came through!!! Thanks to my (our) lawyer

Obare was on Monday arraigned at Kiambu Law courts where he was charged with disclosing of personal data in the case where the complainant is Natalie Wanjiru Githinji, popularly known as Natalie Tewa.
Obare was on Thursday arrested in Kisumu by detectives from the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI).
According a post shared on his Insta stories, Obare revealed that he was picked up by many officers from his home and ferried to Nairobi.
“As I said earlier I was summoned by the DCI. Today morning I was arrested by very many officers at my home. Now am headed to Nairobi. Thank you for your undying support.” he wrote
