American rapper Onika Tanya Maraj-Petty popularly known as Nicki Minaj is set to become a mum.
Nicki uploaded a series of photos on Instagram on Monday announcing her pregancy with husband Kenneth Petty.
The 37 year old rapper captioned the photos “#Preggers” and another reading: “Love. Marriage. Baby carriage. Overflowing with excitement & gratitude. Thank you all for the well wishes
Celebrities like actress Halle Berry came out to congratulate the rapper saying, “YES Congratulations beauty!!!!” and singer Sam Smith writing “congratulations beautiful x”.
Last year, Minaj had shocked fans by announcing her retirement and desire to start a family in a since-deleted tweet.
“I’ve decided to retire & have my family. I know you guys are happy now,” she said.
