The president of single mothers Esther Akoth popularly known as Akothee has taken a homeless man from the streets on Mombasa.
In a video posted on her Instagram account, Akothee narrated the plight of Shadrack Mwita whom he bought a wheelchair only to realise that he has no home.
The singer revealed that she had shopped for Mwita after meeting him on the streets and bought him a wheelchair only for him to warn her that it would be stolen because he has no home.
The singer said that she was heartbroken by Mwita’s story and decided to take him home with her.
I took Shadrack Mwita with me. He will eat what I eat for now until I find a solution. My house is his home for now,” said Akothee
The mother of said she felt pity on the man especially because of the heavy rains currently being experienced in most parts of the country.
