Machakos County Governor Dr. Alfred Mutua and his Deputy Bernard Kiala’s war took an ugly turn when the two men decided to trade sex accusations with each other.
Mutua fired the first salvo at Kiala accusing him demanding sexual favours from innocent, struggling girls.
According to Mutua, the situation has made it very hard for the two to work together, the SDE reported
“Mimi nimeshindwa kabisa kufanya kazi na mtu ambaye najua anaiba. Mtu ambaye najua anaitisha wasichana watoe suruali ndio wapate kazi,” SDE quoted Mutua.
Kiala is reported to have also called press conference and in equal venom, dismissed his boss as amorous, saying when it comes to sex exploits, Mutua was in a class of his own. “Mutua lives in a glass house. He cannot be the one to throw stones,” Kiala said, adding that after running out of public relations gimmicks, the governor had resorted to insults and “If he has evidence that I have stolen even a pencil, let him record a statement.”
