American media personality Oprah Winfrey was forced to clear her name after trending for the better part of Tuesday.
According to a series of tweets online that saw Oprah trend, she was allegedly arrested for sex trafficking.
Oprah said she received a call that she is trending after she was allegedly raided and arrested by police.
The 66 year old talk show host said she was has not been arrested by is in isolation following the corona virus crisis.
“Just got a phone call that my name is trending. And being trolled for some awful FAKE thing. It’s NOT TRUE. Just sanitizing and self distancing with the rest of the world. Stay safe everybody.” She said
