Diamond Platnumz left fans asking for more after hosting a press briefing on Wednesday afternoon.
The singer who has been caught up in alleged break up scandals had called for a media briefing at Serena hotel in Dar Es Salaam.
As is the norm, many people expected him to address the alleged break up because he had earlier claimed that he wants to give his side of the story.
However journalists were disappointed when the much awaited presser turned out to be Diamond’s unveiling as the Brand ambassador for coral paints.
The singer steered clear of any questions surrounding the controversy in his love life.
“Kwanza niwapongeze kampuni hii kwa kutimiza miaka 30 maana unajua miaka 30 ndo miaka yangu mimi, kwa hiyo wakati mimi nazaliwa ndo hii kampuni inaanza. Katika miaka hiyo 30 wametoa ajira kwa Watanzania, unajua kabla nikubali kitu naangalia kwanza kama kina faida kwa Watanzania. Ni nafasi kubwa na siku zote nikipata fursa ya kufanya kazi na Kampuni natangaza kweli. Nikiwa kama kijana anaye fanya kazi ya Sanaa, nataka kufanya kazi chanya, na kampuni kama hii kusema inafanya kazi na Diamond ni jambo nzuri”. He said during the event
Asked why it seems like he is the only one from WCB who has been getting ambassadorial deals and whether he bars other WCB signees, Diamond said that he cannot bar any of them.
“I cannot bar them from taking any ambassadorial deals. Very soon both Rayvanny and Mboso will be unveiled by other companies too. When a company approaches me, I cannot go and suggest someone for them when they know what they want.” He said
Diamond currently holds ambassadorial position for five products, Nice One powder soap, Parimatcha a betting company in Tanzania, Pepsi East Africa, Belaire Rose and Coral paints.
