
A Nigerian gospel artiste has called out controversial singer David Adeleke popularly known as Davido.
The singer alleged that Davido attacked her son after he asked the singer for a selfie.
In a video on Instagram, the mum who identified herself as Wunmi Praise said she the singer has got his fame stuffed up in his head.
“Now you think you have disgraced my son, you disgrace yourself. So let me tell you, go and check my page on Instagram, and you will know who I am. I am Wunmi Praise, a gospel musician. Check me there, we are not a poor people. My son is not a poor guy.” She said
Davido recently made headlines after he was accused of attacking a young man that asked him for a selfie.
In a video that went viral, Davido slapped the man on the chest for trying to get a selfie at the airport.
Wunmi further asked Davido to emulate the likes of Wizkid, Tecno, Kizz Daniel, AY and Okey Bakassi who have remained humble despite the fame.
This is not the first time the singer has been involved in fighting controversy.
Back in 2016 he and his friends allegedly beat up an unknown man in London, U.K. Back in 2019 he was also accused of beating an upcoming artiste in an elevator in Dubai.
The upcoming singer had allegedly asked him for a selfie when a drunk Davido struck him.
