For the past few days there was word doing rounds that Tanzanian singer Benpol and his Kenyan fiancé Anerlisa Muigai have parted ways.
Speaking at a recent interview, Ben Pol addressed the alleged breakup with Anerlisa Muigai saying that the allegations are false.
Speaking in an interview, the singer said that the allegations started after he deactivated his Instagram account.
Ben Pol maintains that he had taken time off social media to be with his family.
The singer deactivated his account leaving many believing that his girlfriend had unfollowed him on social media and that there were issues in their relationship.

Wakija kwangu wanakuta hakuna Instagram aah hapa kutakuwa kuna moto umewaka lakini mimi nilikuwa tu nimeamua kuenda off social media. So hata zile walivyokuwa wanaandika watu, blogs kimenuka huko, tulikuwa tunatumiana tunaangalia nikasema mama yangu kwani ndio watu wanasubiria hii kitu ama vipi. Ndio baadae nikarudi Instagram maisha yakaendelea,” he said
