Gospel deejay Sammy Muraya popularly known as Dj Mo has been forced to clear the air after fans attacked his upcoming event.
Dj Mo and his wife Size 8 had shared a post promoting their upcoming dinner dubbed ‘Dine with the Murayas’ which fans felt were too expensive.
The dinner which is slated for Valentine’s day 2020 will be hosted at the Emory hotel and will have two packages costing Ksh. 7000 and Ksh. 10000 shillings.
Fans argued that the couple is extorting their fans with the dinner charges.
The deejay is now saying the charges are fair considering that the package is inclusive of a four course meal.
“I don´t know why people think the event is expensive because the fee includes all the activities and the four-course meal. We want to make Valentine´s Day different from what people have been doing. Even if we put it at the lowest price, there are still those who will still not afford” he said
The deejay also revealed that he and size 8 will simply be moderators at the said event.
“As the Muraya´s, we are just the moderator of the event, but many other couples will come and share their stories, which will inspire people.” He added
