Now vacation in London has turned into a bizarre for NTV’s top news anchor,one Larry Madowo.And for the next few days,you wont be able to see him since he is stuck.
The eloquent media person who flies “The Trend” wing every Friday night on the station yesterday got robbed of his bag that contained his passport and other valuables while staying at the Park Plaza Westminster Bridge Hotel.
In a tweet earlier yesterday,Larry expressed his disappointment with the hotel management who he says were unapologetic on his loss,further blaming him for his own loss.
“My bag with passport & other valuables stolen at @ParkPlazaHotels Westminster Bridge lobby & hotel is unapologetic. Holiday totally ruined. Guest relations manager @ParkPlazaHotels Westminster Bridge says my travel docs & valuables stolen in their hotel isn’t their responsibility”,he tweeted.
He has since reported the matter to the police though his flights to Paris and Amsterdam have been cancelled since he has no a passport or a visa.
“On the upside, the police lady on the phone was very pleasant & apologetic Cop took detailed notes of lost passport, Macbook and whatnot and promised to email case file. I felt like it was a movie! Got flights to Paris tomorrow and to Amsterdam on Saturday that I have to cancel because no passport = no visa. When it rains, it pours,” Larry further added.
