Controversial singer Esther Akoth popularly known as Akothee collapsed on stage during the just concluded Luo festival.
Akothee was among the artistes who graced the stage at the star-studded Luo Festival which went down in Kisumu over the weekend.
The singer was in the middle of an electrifying performance when she lost consciousness.
Akothee was taken off the stage by her dancers and security who then gave her first aid.
The incident happened just two days after the singe was discharged from Karen hospital following a bout of flu and fatigue.
Earlier in the day the singer was scene mingling with fans in the streets of Kisumu.
The singer even shopped for a huge number of fans who had followed her inside Tuskys supermarket United Mall.
She later apologized to the Supermarket’s management saying she did not intend to cause chaos at the facility.
“I am sorry for the supermarkets, the manager of the supermarket panicked, little did he know I was peeing on my panties , when the supermarket turned into Akothee’s fan base.” She said
