Timmy Tdat has revealed why his latest song ‘Vitamin U’ mysteriously disappeared from Youtube hours after its release.

The song had been the center of all controversies after dropping on November 1st with many people likening it to soft porn.

After igniting and online conversation, the song mysteriously disappeared on Youtube leading people to believe that Timmy’s account had been hacked and the song pulled down.

Turns out, the rapper pulled down the song to have it re-edited in order to protect his lady Rosa Ree who was featured in the song.

In a recent interview, Tdat said he was forced to pull down the song after Rosa Ree got into trouble with Tanzanian authorities.

“Nilitoa video sababu ya Rosa Ree. Side ya Tanzania ilikuwa noma. Monday Tuesday na Wdnesday alikuwa kwa kesi tofauti. On Monday alikuwa sijui kwa akina nani, on Tuesday alikuwa kwa board ya filamu, on Wednesday alikuwa kwa BASATA yenyewe so the more ilikuwa inaendelea kukaa hapo ndio the more inakaa nikama yeye ni kichwa ngumu. You see those guys hawawezi kuelewa kwamba haiko kwa channel yake, iko kwa channel yangu na hawawezi kuelewa kwamba si ngoma yake ni yangu nimemshirikisha. Vile ameshakuwa mhusika ni noma already. Mimi kitu ningeweza kufanya the best ni kupull kwanza video, vitu zitulie alafu nipige edit,” he said

Timmy also said that the government should not ban such music because that is the direction the music industry is headed.

He however asked KFCB boss to put in place the limit to which artistes should adhere to instead of looking at songs like ‘vitamin U’ as immoral.

“Nikipewa fursa ya kufanya video kama hio. Mimi naona ntaifanya kwa sababu huko ndio mahali tunaenda. Tray Songz wanazifanya, akina pretty ugly wanazifanya. We need to take our industry to the next level.” he added
