Bongo star Harmonize angered a section of Kenyan journalists after he stormed off his own press briefing.
The singer was in the country on Friday for a media tour and had invited journalists for a press briefing at the Blue Door’s VIP lounge in Westlands.
The singer is said to have addressed journalists for only three minutes after arriving at the same event late.
Trouble started earlier in the day after the singer’s management re-scheduled the said event which was to start 11:00 am to 3:00 pm then moved it further to 7:00pm
Harmonize allegedly arrived at the venue an hour late, spoke for only three minutes.
He refused to answer any questions regarding his former label Wasafi. His bodyguards allegedly shoved journalists aside so that the singer could pass.
His management later said that they had to leave because the singer was late for a TV interview that was starting at 10:00pm.
Kenyan journalists feel they were duped after the singer hosted a mega tour in Tanzania opening up on his relationship with his previous label.He also hosted a bash for the media and celebrities and even gave a stunning performance of his new song.
