Gospel singer Pitson is having a hard time getting by after a doctor’s visit revealed he needs to relax more.
The singer recently revealed that he has been advised to stay away from singing for the next two months because he has damaged his vocal cords.
“I went to see a doctor after I was unable to sing and they said I am not going to sing for the next two months because my voice is damaged,” he said
The singer added that he is having a hard time getting by because singing is his livelihood.
“It is really difficult for me because singing is what I do for a living, and staying away from the studio sounds very boring to me. For me, I feel like I have not been praying enough and I lack integrity in the way I do things.” he added
Last year Nigerian star Tekno Miles was also ordered to take a musical hiatus to relax his vocal cords which he said were badly damaged.
“These past few days have been really trying times for your boy Tekno. He had tried to downplay the severity of his ailment hoping that it will be short lived but after further diagnoses doctor advised he should take time out to recover. His vocal cord is temporarily damaged due to strain from overtime performance and cannot sing or perform in a while.” Tekno’s management said at the time
