
Reggae legend Duane Stephenson jetted in the country earlier this week ahead of his concert at KICC this Saturday.
The Jamaican artiste will be performing live at the Let love reign concert alongside Davillle courtesy of Mohspice and Across solutions.
The artiste will be giving his first ever performance in the city under the sun and says he is more than ready to rock reggae lovers all night long.
Wyre, Gravity the Band, Iklektik Band, Talia Oyando, Dj Moh The Ruffest, Muzikal Sheriff, Mc Philipo and Mc Teargas will also be on stage to lit up the Saturday event.
Duane’s talent goes further beyond the confines of his own voice however, The musician and songwriter has been a key component of the success of many of his peers lending a hand especially in Jah Cure’s mega hit record “Reflections”.
Duane Stephenson released his first solo album with VP Records in 2007 and went on to perform at Reggae Sumfest and toured with Dean Fraser, playing throughout the Caribbean, the United States, and Europe.
His second album dubbed ‘Black Gold’ was released in 2010 and he toured the US and South America based entirely off of its popularity and success while his third album ‘Dangerously Roots: Journey from August Town in 2014 is a project that took over two years to complete and included a cover version of Bunny Wailers ‘Cool Runnings’.
Reggae lovers in the country have had a fantastic year with different reggae legends gracing different events since the onset of 2019.
