The “King of Lovers Rock” Jah Cure jetted into the country last week for the much anticipated Umoja Splash Festival that went down on Saturday night.

Fans who attended the concert were however not impressed with Jah Cure’s 2 hour performance even as he tried to engage the Kenyan fans with a bit of some local touch.

Jah Cure took to the stage in a full Maasai regalia to the excitement of many.

The show was curtain raised by a number of Kenyan artists among them; KRG The Don, Alvindo, Sol Generation’s first born Bensoul, Bundocks Gang, Donte, Kevin Brown, Natty Konshanz and the Lion Cornerstone band, Mighty Zionites, who prepared the stage for the main act of the night.

Reggae lovers were also treated to poor sound and some concert goers report that Cure also took forever to change into different outfits during the show.

A little bad reports that fans had a better experience getting high and liquor was actually sold out at the event.

Prior to the concert, the reggae sensation toured different tourism attraction sites and participated in a clean-up exercise in Mihango, Kayole.
