For the past few weeks Tanzanian celebrity couple Vanessa Mdee and Juma Jux have been rumored to have broken up but the two have always maintained that they are just rumors.
At one point Mdee said the only reason they have not been seen in public together is because of their busy schedules.
On Sunday, Vanessa Mdee finally confirmed her break up with longtime boyfriend RnB singer Juma Jux.
In a question and answer session on her Instagram, a fan asked whether it was true that she has called it quits with Jux.
“Wewe na Juma mmeachana??” asked the fan
Vanessa Mdee then responded saying that it is true they are no longer a couple.
The singer maintains that they will always be friends despite the fact that they are no longer together.
“Ndio, lakini we are good friends and forever family,” she wrote back
Vanessa Mdee’s younger sister Mimi Mars had early broke news about the break up even as the couple kept mum on the issue.
