Gospel singer DK Kwenye Beat has disclosed how media giant NTV cancelled an episode of it’s reality TV show Being Bahati because he was featured in it.
For the first time since he was accused of being involved in a threesome scandal with his counterpart HopeKid and a 20 year-old girl, the singer has narrated how things went thick for him.
Speaking in an interview, DK said that the situation got so bad and only a few friends stood by him and they were people he never expected.
“Hio season, I thought I had friends but mimi najua tu ni watu tumekutana town kwa sasa. Hamna marafiki hii town. Pataneni mjini achaneni mjini hawa watu si rafiki zako.In between these issues, I’ve lost friends, I’ve lost deals, I’ve lost reputation but what keeps me moving is that I have not lost God. Huyo tu ndio amebaki,” he said.
He also mentioned the likes of Bahati, Juliani, Moji and Ringtone as those who showed him support.
The singer spoke out for the first time since the scandal that rocked the gospel industry early this year.
