Singer Otile Brown was feeling philanthropic on Saturday as he took to Nairobi CBD to gift random people.
In a video uploaded on his Youtube channel, Otile went around the CBD on Saturday rewarding fans with some lunch money.
The singer says at the begging of the video that her woke up with the feeling of blessing someone.
According to the singer, his act was inspired by the fact that he was once in the same situation as most people in the streets of Nairobi and he had nothing.
Otile narrated how he walked in the CBD hoping to pick at least ksh.50 to aid his movements.
“God has been good to me and I’m feeling great today. I’m feeling like blessing my people with the little that I have. I’m not wealthy, I’m not that rich but natumai kwamba kile kidogo nilichojaliwa nacho nibariki jamaa zangu na mashabiki vile vile on the streets. You know I came from nothing na kuna wakati ambapo nilikuwa natembea sana kwenye hizi streets na kuna wakati sikuwa na fare. Nilikuwa natembea kwenye hizi streets nikitamani angalau niokote hata kama ni 50 bob iwe ni fare yangu inifikishe nyumbani so natumai hapa kwenye streets kuna mtu ambaye ako kwenye situation hiyo huenda hana fare amepiga michakato yake, amepiga mishe zake lakini hazijakuwa. So kwa kile kidogo amabacho nitakuwa nikipeana natumai kwamba kitakuwa kimemsaidia mtu kwa njia moja ama nyingine,” said Otile Brown.
