A popular Tanzania media personality has thrown shade at singer Diamond Platnumz for using playback in his performance during the Wasafi Festival held in Nairobi.
Through a tweet, Maulid Kitenge a presenter at E FM wrote that the fury on social media following Diamond’s performance with support of playback is evidence that he needs to change his tactics.
He went on to advice the singer to ditch the playback saying fans expect a big artiste like him to give a stunning performance without playback support.
“Wakenya kwa jinsi wanavyolalamika, na kwa jinsi nlivyoona ile show ya Diamond, inaonekana wanataka msanii wa kuimba kama Diamond aimbe watu wamsikie na sio playback na kuimbisha watu. So Diamond akienda tena kule ajipange,” he tweeted
