Jamaican reggae legend Romain Virgo has landed in Nairobi ahead of the Guiness football Fanzone experience.
Romain who landed at JKIA last night will grace the event that is set to go down this weekend at Uhuru Gardens.
Romain during a presser this morning, promised to give fans an epic concert adding that he would perform new songs off his latest album ‘Lovesick’
The singer said it is a dream come true for him to once again perform in Nairobi two years after his first concert.
“I looked forward to coming back to Kenya. It is truely a dream come true to come back and do a better show than I did last time. I will perform some new songs off of the Lovesick album for the first time in Kenya.” he said
Romain added that he would love if King Kaka would share the stage with him at his ncert this weekend. The two artistes worked on a song together for King Kaka’s Eastlando Royalty.
The two artistes were brought together by ZJ Henno.
The Guiness Fanzone Football watching experience will also give fans a chance to interact with football legend Rio Ferdinand.
The event will take place on Saturday 15th at the Uhuru Gardens grounds and will have performances from Kenyan artistes, Naiboi, Fena Gitu, Khaligraph and Juacali.
The event’s tickets which go for khs.1500 regular and 4000 VIP will give fans access to the football watching experience and the after party as well as two cans of Guinness.
