Rapper DNA has released a dis son in response to Dj Pinye’s ‘mediocre’ comment.
While on a recent interview, Dj Pinye claimed he never played DNA and Khaligraph’s songs while on TV because their songs were mediocre.
The song dubbed ‘kapinye’ terms the veteran deejay as a dream breaker who never used his time in the industry to help upcoming artistes.
“Hawa wasee walipewa chance wakatupa msee, saa hii ni ma bitterness kuruka msee.. Walisema unaringa, hawakuwa wameshika rada, yako si maringo, yako ni roho chafu. We Kapinye si ni dream chasers, weh Kapinye ni dream breaker.” Goes part of the lyrics
DNA also claims that deejay Pinye also killed the dreams of an upcoming group.
Pinye has been criticized from time to for not supporting upcoming talent and only playing their music after they make it.
