Cold Play lead singer,co-founder and seven-time Grammy Award winner Chris Martin has showered Nigerian singer Wizkid with some love.
Christ recently watched Wizkid on stage at Global Citizen Festival that was organized to honor the life of Nelson Mandela.
“Wizkid got on stage and everyone just went crazy. For me it was a dream come true coz I always wanted to watch him perform. It was such an emotional moment for me I actually cried.” He said
Wizkid shared the stage with other big names like Beyonce and Jay Z, Femi Kuti among others.
The concert was held in Johannesburg, South Africa on Sunday to mark Nelson Mandela’s 100th birthday.
He is not the only one to feel this way. Alicia Keys once put up a video of her dancing to Wizkid’s song Ojuelegba. Rihanna also played the song at her Fenty Beauty runway show at one point.
