Tanzania’s music has been revolutionary from one generation to another.Diamond Platnumz is currently presumed as the “ultimate act” of the moment, years ago was Ali Kiba and before that was the popular “Fagilia” master Mr.Nice.
The latter later on went missing on the scene before resurfacing and claiming to make a musical comeback having signed under local GrandPa Records.
However ,Mr.Nice disappeared mysteriously again and nothing has been heard of him since late last year till yesterday when Uganda’s Jose Chameleone revealed news of his (Mr.Nice’) ailment.
Apparently and in a shameful approach i feel failed by Tanzanians artistes.They’ve always
shown hospitality and oneness not only to their own,but always spread the love to outsiders.Why else neglect someone you grew up looking up to as a musical idol?
Wait,am aware that the country is on a ) hot seat courtesy coming soon General Election which has seen more artiste interested in politics more than before.
But so what? Should we allow elections and politics steal our humanity and moral values?
Mr.Nice is sick and no artiste knew about except an upcoming blogger-Bil The African The Blogger- who informed Jose Chameleone of this sad news.
Just like we did it for Christian Longomba,We can do it for the “Kidalipo” hit maker.It is a shame if artistes and fans ignore this call.
See the heartening caption the “Wale Wale” hitmaker wrote regarding this Mr.Nice Illness Issues;
” I am out of words how we love and live life unfairly.Doesn’t matter our dooz and deeds. We live in a generation when fathers don’t guide sons how to be Brave and great. It’s only our mothers and Aunties that have kept presence in keeping the Woman Pride. Lucas Mkenda “MR NICE” I Love, Pray and believe that God will see you through. I have been informed By Bil the African the Blogger about your illness.I care, am soooooo disturbed by how you are.I ask Allah keep you alive As a Great African Son.
Hold faith #FagiliaBongo
Leone Island Music Empire.”
Am working in bringing local artistes together for this course.
