Singer Akothee has blasted her close friend for refusing to support her daughter’s charity event.
Akothee’s daughter has been planning a charity event in a bid to donate sanitary towels to needy girls and has called on well wishers to donate a pack of pads.
The singer took to social media to narrate how she sent out a text message to her friends calling on them to support her daughter but none of them replied.
”People can’t even donate sanitary towels for KSh 60 bob to a girl child and we be making hair for KSh 10,000 and lashes for KSh 8,000 and alcohol for KSh 100,000 and you busy reminding me if I ever do charity!” Akothee wrote
Akothee went on to call on her fans to come out and support her daughter’s event whose entry is only a packet of pads.
