Yvette Obura, the mother of singer Bahati’s first born Mueni Bahtai has said she is not Bahati’s baby mama.
Yvette was addressing how she is constantly referred to as Bahati’s baby mama instead of being called by her name.
Yvette said anyone who wants to refer to her should use her real names instead of associating her with the singer.
“I’m Yvette mimi ni mama Mueni. Mueni ni mtoto wa Bahati. Most of the people call us baby mamas of which sipendi hiyo jina. So naeza sema mimi ni mama ya mtoto wa Bahati,” she said
Yvette is not the first one to have denounced the tittle baby mama in public, actress Brenda Wairimu once said she has made a name for herself so she should not be referred to as Juliani’s baby mama.
“My name is Brenda Wairimu so when you are writing an article could you not start by saying Juliani’s baby mama? I have a name I’ve made something of myself, I work hard.” Said Brenda
At one point singer Sage also said she hates being called King Kaka’s baby mama.
