South African rapper Nasty C is expected in the country later today ahead of the Kaya Fest which he will headline as the main act.
Nasty C will share the stage with Kenyan artistes like The Kansoul, Rosa, Barak Jacuzzi, and newcomers, Ethic Group of the hit song “Lamba Lolo”.
The Kaya fest has been organized by The Hype Group Limited and Mwanaume Ni Effort (MNE)
The rapper has expressed his excitement to be back in Nairobi urging fans to expect big things during the concert which is his fist major performance since dropping his album ‘strings and bling’.
“I can’t wait to return to Nairobi to meet up with my fans! I am excited about this concert as it will be my first major performance since dropping my album and I am glad that my Kenyan fans will be able to experience it live.’’ He said
The Kaya fest will take place on Saturday July 28th at the Ngong’ Racecourse.
UK rapper Kojo Funds who was also set to headline the concert will not be performing the organizers have revealed.
“We regret to announce that Kojo Funds won’t be performing at Kaya Fest 2018 this weekend due to issues relating to immigration. We were unable to secure a work permit for him and his team in good time. However, he will be performing in Nairobi in December 2018. To our super fans we sincerely apologize and to make it up.” said the organizers
