Jamaican reggae artist Chronixx lit up the crowd at KICC this past weekend but one man caught the attention of the crowd more.
Kenyan reggae sensation Ruzira stephen makula popularly known as Lavosti took to the stage and immediately ignited a huge applause.
Lavosti was not scheduled to perform during the event and describes the surprise moment as phenomenal.
“I was just backstage when the manage came to me and said I was up next. I was honestly caught by surprise but the moment was phenomenal. Chronixx had once said he wanted us to perform together but I had no idea Saturday would be the day.” He said
The negus negast hit maker whose Saturday performance was compared to that of Capleton said it was an honor to thrill fans.
Lavosti will be heading out of the country to promote his music at the Trench town festival in Ireland before heading to Jamaica where he sites a possible collaboration with Jamaican artiste Chronixx.
The singer says his last leg of the year will be a very busy one and fans should expect an album come December.
Lavosti will also headline the Zanzibar reggae festival followed by the Nigerian Reggae festival in November this year.
The reggae sensation promises his fans an amazing line up of songs in his upcoming album.
