
Ghetto radio in conjunction with gospel musician Diddy Man on Saturday 9th June held the first ever football tournament dubbed “My Talent Festival” at the Dagoretti NCC Grounds.
The festival attracted a number of youths in the area who came to play, mingle and be mentored by the celebrities and Ghetto radio team.
The event was an initiative to bring celebrities who have made it from different backgrounds and inspire the youth to use their talents and make a difference.
“The aim is to go to every area around Nairobi and eventually the whole nation and touch many young people’s lives and show them that talent can get them anywhere they want.” Organizer Didi man said
Football legend Dennis Oliech who was also present at the event expressed his joy at the initiative and congratulated the organizing team on the initiative to mentor the youth.
“I am happy that such initiatives are coming up and increasing, I am grateful to Ghetto radio for remembering the youth and mentoring them.” He said
Other artist present included gospel singers Ringtone,Mr Seed,Moji ShortBaba, MashMwana, JFahm and Ghetto Radio Presenters and deejays Ruff, Katta and Double trouble.
