Recording label BMG Empire’s social media accounts have been hacked and all content deleted from all accounts.
The record label owned by Kenyan artiste Nasty Bull has blamed the incident on its competitors saying so much of their work was lost as a result of the hack.
In a statement from the Record Label based in Nairobi’s Donholm area, the C.E.O said he was not surprised by the incident.
‘’This is something shocking and very unfortunate to happen to us (BMG Empire) especially at such a time when we have been putting in so much work to revitalize the record label and position it as a reputable force to reckon with in the region… I am not surprised that some of my competitors are already out to spoil the party for us. ‘’ Nasty Bull said
The former recording artiste went on to explain that a certain individual had compromised the security of their passwords.
“We suspect the security of our accounts may have been compromised after a suspected individual accessed our passwords from unknown sources, something we are still investigating.” he added
The one year old record label boasts of famous household names like Nyota Ndogo, Jimwat, Kaleb Singa, Shamir, Undersqo, Ghetto Governor, Lyone keem and the classy Kamba girl Wavinya.
The Record Label Management has however asked all his supporters and fans to stay calm as they try to fix this problem and get things back in order as soon as possible.
