
Ugandan artist Douglas Mayanja popularly known as Weasel has released an emotional song giving tribute to his fallen partner Mowzey Radio one month after the singer died.
The four minute track is titled ‘Tokyayitaba’ translated to “Unresponsive” and expresses Weasel’s regret at Mowzey’s untimely death.
Weasel expressed how he is missing his brother and also the moments they spent together while the vocalist was alive.
The song’s chorus speaks of the singer’s pain in living at the moment.
“Don’t blame me when I at my money, Don’t blame me when I enjoy life because one day I or you will be unresponsive.God protect Radio’s family,Their fans, If I am one to fight, If the enemies are many I will still fight. Death, Death. Why me.” Goes part of the song’s chorus
Weasel is set to perform the song at Theater La Bonita where he and Radio were the main stars on the Ebonies’s weekly ‘Music Tantal’ night.
Mowzey Radio died on February 1st 2018 at Case hospital in Kampala where he was undergoing treatment following a bar fight at Dar bar, a local hangout joint in Kampala.
