Controversial singer Esther Akoth popularly known as Akothee is once again involved in heated argument with power supplier KPLC.
The singer who last year caused a stir online for allegedly being asked to pay more Ksh. 700,000 for the power bill for her Ukunda home.
According to Akothee, Sometime this year she paid Sh738, 000 only to receive another bill that read Sh149, 000 three weeks later.
The singer cum business woman took to social media to vent out saying that KPLC had frustrated her effort to fix the mess and she had finally resorted to waiting at home for them to come fix the mess.
Akothee wrote that she had been frustrated having visited the company’s Mtwapa branch several times to correct the anomaly but to no avail.
KPLC Mtwapa branch am at home waiting for you come and fix this mess! I have been to your offices many times demanding for the bill since you never sent any into my mails & always said my balance was nill, and because I never wanted a repeat of you obtaining another 800,000 ksh again, I just decided to bank money on the same accounts based on my consumption, 1 week ago I still went to your offices in Nyali since Mtwapa kept saying their systems were low, I was given a print out of 0 balance, so send your team urgently to come fix this mess, Erase my name on this bill and print out my bill! Stop this shit, ” she wrote
