As the dust was just beginning to settle on the drama revolving around Sauti sol’s failure to carter for models, their long time publicist came under fire for the whole ordeal.
Sauti Sol had earlier stated in a tweet that they had terminated a contract with a certain production company for refusing to compensate models who were set to appear in their new video.
The group distanced itself from the allegations saying they were not aware of such terms neither would they condone the ‘exposure’ talk.
As a result fans ran to the only publicist of Sauti SOl they know, Anyiko who got roasted by angry fans online asking why she of all people would be using models for free and only give them food and transport.
Days after the heavy fire, Anyiko has come out to state that she doesn’t work with Sauti Sol anymore saying that her last day was January 10th 2017.
‘’I’ve been receiving numerous calls regarding this recent @sautisol statement, and tweet response. Let’s be clear – I am no longer working as Publicist to Sauti Sol. My last day was January 10th 2017. However my company @anyikopr has done PR – ONLY – for their last 2 singles “Melanin & Girl Next Door.” she wrote.
The scandal led to a string or revelation about how entertainers are using their fame to use others especially models and video vixen’s in the name of giving them exposure.
